GRANT WRITING CLASSES OFFERED OCTOBER 29 AT ABAC
TIFTON—Two classes on grant writing, Grant Writing Essentials and Advanced Grant Writing, will be offered at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College on Oct. 29 through the Public Service and Business Outreach Center. Pre-registration is required.
Grant Writing Essentials will be held Oct. 29 from 9 a.m. – noon in the Ag Sciences Building, Room 139. There is a fee of $69. This class is approved for Continuing Education Units (CEUs).
In this class, participants will learn the secrets to successfully secure grant funding for special projects, how to write effective proposals, and where to find public and private funders.
The Advanced Grant Writing class will take place Oct. 29 from 1 – 4 p.m. in the Ag Sciences Building, Room 139. There is a fee of $69. This class is also approved for CEUs. For people interested in taking both classes, there is a fee of $119.
This class is designed for those who have had some grant writing experience. Participants will learn how to write outcome-based goals and objectives, research and present an effective statement of need, prioritize information and present financial data.
