Georgia House Honors ABAC on Its 100^th Birthday

TIFTON - The Georgia House of Representatives recently honored Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College on the House floor with a resolution saluting ABAC on its 100^th birthday.  Rep. Austin Scott and Rep. Jay Roberts arranged the visit which included words from ABAC President David Bridges and ABAC alumnus George T. Smith.  Smith is a former Speaker of the House.  Also at the ceremony were (l-r) Georgia Director of Indigent Defense Mack Crawford, Rep. Jay Shaw, Rep. Melvin Everson, Rep. Penny Houston, Rep. Tom McCall, Rep. Gene Maddox, Judge John Ellington, Smith, Bridges, Roberts, Scott, and Speaker of the House Glenn Richardson.
