LEGO ENGINEERING BEGINS JUNE 23 AT ABAC

TIFTON—A LEGO Engineering class begins June 23 at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College through the Public Service and Business Outreach Center. Pre-registration is required.

This class will be held June 23 – 27 from 1 – 4 p.m. in the Yow Forestry and Wildlife building, Room 112. There is a fee of $109. This class is for children ages eight to 12 years old.

Using LEGO Educational Division Materials and LEGO Technic elements, children will learn about gears, levers, wheels, axles, structures, forces and simple machines. This is an integrated science and math class and leads up to the Robotics Academy, where children will build robots.
