ABAC OFFERS DAY TRIPS THIS FALL

TIFTON—One-day excursions touching everything from the Wizard of Oz to pro football highlight the fall travel schedule of Public Service and Business Outreach Center at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College.   All the trips are open to the public.

On Oct. 25, the first of the day trips will feature a matinee performance of the hit Broadway musical, “Wicked” at Atlanta’s Fabulous Fox Theatre and a meal at Buckners Restaurant. The production provides the “untold story of the witches of Oz.”  Transportation is included in the $169 price.

For the sports fan, there will be a trip to the Atlanta Falcons vs. Carolina game at the Georgia Dome on Nov. 23. The cost is $99, which includes the game ticket and transportation.

History buffs will enjoy the King Tut exhibit in Atlanta on Feb. 12, 2009. This trip includes the exhibit ticket, a meal, and transportation for $99.

All day trips are open to the community and showcase a variety of destinations. For more information on any trip, contact Public Service and Business Outreach Center Director Diane Kilgore at (229) 391-5070 or go online to www.abac.edu/psbo.
