1 DEADLINE FOR EARLY BIRD ORIENTATION AT ABAC
TIFTON—Incoming
freshmen who want the best chance of getting their preferred classes in a
favored time slot for the fall term at
A special
orientation session will be held in late May prior to all other freshman
orientation sessions for those prospective students who meet the deadline. Invitations
will be mailed to those who qualify on March 15th.
Early Bird Requirements include Admissions application, including $20 application fee, Official high school transcript or partial high school transcript if you will be graduating in 2008 (Official GED scores if applicable), Certificate of Immunization (If an immunization series is in progress, send in immunization paper work now and then again when series is complete.), placement testing (Must be completed by March 1. Call (229) 391-4995 to schedule an appointment.)
Ali Csinos, Coordinator of Student Recruitment, said, “The benefit of this registration session is that you get everything taken care of three months before everyone else. Students also have more one-on-one time with advisors and get first pick of the classes they will need. We encourage all graduating seniors to take advantage of this opportunity.”
Students can also talk to housing and financial aid representatives to lease an apartment and have funds in place for the 2008 fall term that begins Aug. 18.
