ABAC OFFERS TRIPS FOR ALL KINDS OF TRAVELERS FOR 2009

TIFTON—From admiring the classic beauty of the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, to visiting the “City of Brotherly Love”, or cruising the Danube River in Austria, travelers with the Public Service and Business Outreach Center at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College will have a lot to choose from during 2009.

On April 23 – 30, 2009, travelers can visit two of the most fascinating cities in the world. The tour of London and Paris will feature such locales as Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, Seine River Cruise, Notre Dame, and dinner at the Eiffel Tower. The cost for this trip is $3,199 for a double occupancy.

A “Heritage of America” tour will allow travelers a chance to walk in the footsteps of some of our greatest Americans. In partnership with the Georgia Agrirama, participants will visit New York City, Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, the Amish Country, Gettysburg, the Shenandoah Valley, Monticello, Colonial Williamsburg, and Mount Vernon. This trip will take place April 25 – May 3, 2009. There is a cost of $2,419 for a double occupancy.

In the summer of 2009, ABAC travelers will get the opportunity to bask in the eternal beauty of Prague, Vienna, and Budapest on the “Imperial Cities” tour. Travelers will enjoy a three-night stay in each city, taking in such sights as Prague’s Hradcany Castle, Vienna’s Danube River Cruise, and Budapest’s Mathias Church.

The fee for this summer excursion is $4,319 for a double occupancy. The trip will run from June 15 – 25, 2009.   

All trips out of state or overseas include round trip airfare, some meals, accommodations, and trip insurance. Prices are subject to change due to airline fuel surcharges.
