COWART HONORED BY ABAC ALUMNI

 

TIFTON – Dianne Cowart of Ocilla was honored at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College’s 2008 Homecoming celebration as an Honorary Alumnus.

Cowart held a number of positions as a staff member at ABAC from the time of her employment in 1973 until her retirement in 1996.  She was dean of women, director of student housing and worked with the Student Government Association. 

She is remembered for being fair, consistent, compassionate, and caring.  She always tried to find the positive in any situation.   She currently lives in Ocilla with her husband, William.
