MOULTRIE RESIDENTS AWARDED SCHOLARSHIPS AT ABAC

TIFTON— Jerrica L. Brown, John D. Kimbrell, and Jessica L. Stanford of Moultrie and Lissette Badillo of Norman Park were awarded scholarships at the recent Honors Day ceremony at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College.

The awards, provided through the ABAC Foundation, were based on a number of criteria such as leadership ability, character, academic excellence, and financial need.

Brown, a nursing major, received a $1,000 Shirley C. Hutchinson Memorial Scholarship; Kimbrell, an agriculture education major, received a $1,000 B.H. and Lanell Claxton Scholarship; and Stanford, a nursing major, received a $500 Beckham Nursing Scholarship. Badillo, a business administration major, received a $3,200 Goizueta Foundation Scholars Fund Scholarship.
