CARTERSVILLE RESIDENT AWARDED SCHOLARSHIP AT ABAC

TIFTON—Rachel E. Hendrix of Cartersville was awarded a scholarship at the recent Honors Day ceremony at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College.

The award, provided through the ABAC Foundation, was based on a number of criteria such as leadership ability, character, academic excellence, and financial need.

Hendrix, a forest resources transfer major, received an $800 Vernon Yow Forestry Scholarship.
