‘BROADWAY IN THE BIG APPLE’ TRIP MARCH 22 - 25

TIFTON—A springtime escape to New York City will be offered March 22 – 25 through Abraham Baldwin College’s Public Service and Business Outreach Center. Travelers will head to the city that never sleeps on a four-day trip to see the sights and catch the hottest Broadway musicals New York  has to offer. This trip is open to the general public.

Tourists will depart from Tifton via coach to the Tallahassee Airport for the flight to New York. Once there, travelers will tour the United Nation’s Headquarters and see the Broadway production of Disney’s The Lion King.

On March 23, there will be a tour of Lower Manhattan, including the Statue of Liberty, the Manhattan skyline, Ground Zero, and “On Top of the Rock”, the observation station on the roof of Rockefeller Center. The night will conclude with the feature Broadway musical Mama Mia!

Day three is a free day for the group. The tour director will help with any arrangements for the day. There is an optional showing of Jersey Boys that night for a fee of $110 per person.

Before departing from the city, visitors will attend morning services at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, followed by Sunday brunch at Tavern on the Green and some shopping time in Soho, the Village, and Chinatown.

This trip is $1,439 per person based on double occupancy.  The trip includes all transportation and hotel accommodations, some meals, and a tour director.
