FACULTY CONCERT AT ABAC MARCH 1

TIFTON – The Abraham Baldwin College music faculty will conduct a concert on March 1 featuring bass-baritone Wayne Jones, soprano Susan Roe, and accompanist Gina Lawhon. The concert will take place at 7 p.m. in Howard Auditorium. This concert is free of charge.

Jones will perform Hugo Wolf’s Fussreise, Dormiro sol nel manto mio from Guiseppe Verdi’s Don Carlo, and Maurice Ravel’s III. Chanson a boire from Don Quichotte a Dulcinee. He will also sing a selection from Leonard Bernstein’s West Side Story.

Roe will perform Johannes Brahms’ Wie melodien zieht es, Claude Debussy’s Nous avons plus des maison, and Vissi d’arte from Tosca by Giacomo Puccini. She will also sing Somewhere Over the Rainbow from Wizard of Oz.

The program will culminate with a duet of All I Ask of You from Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Phantom of the Opera.
