‘BROADWAY IN THE BIG APPLE’ TRIP MARCH 22 - 25

TIFTON—The Abraham Baldwin College Public Service and Business Outreach Center invites travelers to head for the city that never sleeps on a four-day trip to see the sights and catch the hottest Broadway musicals New York City has to offer. This trip is open to the general public.

The trip will take place March 22 – 25, 2007, when participants will see two Broadway shows while feasting their eyes on all the historical and traditional New York sights. On March 22, participants will take a coach from Tifton to the Tallahassee Airport for the flight to New York. Once there, travelers will tour the United Nation’s Headquarters and see the Broadway production of Disney’s The Lion King.

The second day of the trip will feature a tour of Lower Manhattan, including the Statue of Liberty, the Manhattan skyline, Ground Zero, and “On Top of the Rock”, the observation station on the roof of Rockefeller Center. That night’s feature Broadway musical will be Mama Mia!

Day three is a free day for the group. The tour director will help with any arrangements for the day. There is an optional showing of Jersey Boys that night for a fee of $110.

The day of departure from the city will begin with morning services at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, followed by Sunday brunch at Tavern on the Green and some shopping time in Soho, the Village, and Chinatown before flying home.

This trip is $1,439 per person based on double occupancy.  The trip includes all transportation and hotel accommodations, some meals, and a tour director.
