Bridges and Raines pushed detonator buttons to set off a
small charge of dynamite to signal the beginning of the project.
The ABAC Lakeside suites will have a bedroom, bathroom,
and a kitchenette with microwave, refrigerator, and sink. Rent is $330 per person per month for doubles
and $385 per person per month for singles.
The rent includes all utilities, wireless internet, and cable television

Parking spaces for 474 vehicles will also be a part of
the project, which is located directly across Lake Baldwin from ABAC Place, an

ABAC Lakeside will be the first housing at the college
devoted entirely to freshmen. Residents
will combine residential and academic life with workshops on time management,
relationships, and other transitional issues.
