FALL ABAC MUSIC RECITALS DECEMBER 6-7

 

            TIFTON - Music majors at Abraham Baldwin College will perform recitals on Dec. 6-7 at 4:30 p.m. each day in the Chapel of All Faiths. The performances are open to anyone who would like to attend at no charge.

            Nineteen of the 22 ABAC music majors will be featured at the recitals performing vocal and instrumental compositions.

            The Dec. 6 recital will feature Kayla Wise from Rebecca, soprano; Meg Vinnacombe of Douglas, soprano; Harry King of Tifton, baritone; Brittany Inman from Adel, alto; Meagan Royal of Tifton, soprano; Jasmine Richardson of Albany, soprano; Brad Topping from Tifton, trumpet; Brandon Rutland of Lenox, alto saxophone; and Stephanie Hunt of Tifton, clarinet.

            On Dec. 7, the recital participants will be Michael Hamilton of Tifton, tenor; Savannah Rogers from Norman Park, mezzo-soprano; Josh Harrell of Tifton, tenor; Tyler Yawn of Cordele, bass-baritone; Chandler Hill from Adel, trombone; Joshua Taylor from Camilla, classical guitar; Lee Cross of Rebecca and Johnathan Thomas of Toccoa, percussion; and Lucy Taylor from Douglas; baritone saxophone.

            Musical selections will feature representative compositions of composers from the Baroque through the Twentieth Century.
