Students in the Association of
Information Technology Professionals help foster parents learn computer skills.

PARENTS LEARN COMPUTER SKILLS
TIFTON—A computer class is now taking place to help foster parents learn computer basics so
they can help the children they care for with their schoolwork. The five-week
course was contracted through the PSBOC at
Joy Godin, Instructor of Information Technology, along with the Association of Information Technology Professionals, contracted the class for foster parents. Godin serves as the teacher for the class.
“We are teaching them basic computer skills such as how to use the components, use the internet and e-mail, saving and storing files, computer terminology, and how to use programs,” Godin said.
