BASKETBALL CAMPS FOR KIDS TO BE OFFERED AT ABAC
TIFTON—A Coed Basketball Camp will be held from June 5 – 9 from 9 a.m. – noon in Gressete Gym. The camp will be taught by Fillies’ head coach, Julie Conner. The fee is $75 and includes a camp souvenir.
This camp will enhance basic skills and fundamentals of the game. Low level competition and games will be integrated into the clinic. This camp is for boys and girls ages 5 – 11 years old.
An ABAC Stallions’ Basketball Camp will also be offered during the summer. The camp runs from June 12 – 16 from 9 a.m. – noon in Gressette Gym. The fee for this camp is $99 and includes a t-shirt.
The week will consist of drills and skill work designed to improve skill level as well as basketball I.Q. The camp is for boys 12 – 18 years old. Stallions’ Coach Todd Sheppard will teach this camp.
A Fillies Elite Position Camp will be held June 17 – 21 from 2 – 5 p.m. in Gressette Gym. The fee for this camp is $75. Conner will teach the camp. This camp is designed for girls ranging in age from 12 – 18 years old. Participants will learn intense position specific instruction. Post players and guards will be drilled on fundamental skills for their positions including shooting, defense, and rebounding.
