POTTS APPOINTED AS NEW REGENT

 

Governor Sonny Perdue recently appointed Willis J. Potts, Jr. to the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia. Potts replaced former Governor Joe Frank Harris of Cartersville, whose term ended in January. Potts is a native of Rome.

Potts has served as the Eleventh District Representative for Georgia. He recently retired as a vice president and general manager of Temple-Inland Inc., which produces corrugated packaging and wood products.
