FALL REGISTRATION AND ORIENTATION JULY 7 AT ABAC

TIFTON- The first available registration and orientation session for students enrolling at Abraham Baldwin College for the fall term will take place on July 7. There is an orientation fee of $30. All students must be at the J. Lamar Branch Student Center at 8 a.m. The June 16 orientation and registration session is completely filled.

Before attending any orientation sessions, students must turn in a completed ABAC application form, along with a $25 application fee. Once accepted to ABAC, students can register to attend one of the orientation and registration sessions offered for fall term. Students should sign up ahead of time by calling the Office of Enrollment Services at (229) 391-5001.

Two other orientation sessions on the main campus of ABAC for fall term are on July 21 and Aug. 17. Students attending the July 7 and 21 registration and orientation sessions must pay all fees by Aug. 9 at 4:30 p.m. Those attending the Aug. 17 session must pay fees by Aug. 18 at 4:30 p.m.

Activities during orientation will include meeting student leaders, tours of the campus, a guide to registering for classes, a Focus on Your Major session, and the actual registration process.

Students who need assistance paying for their college education can still apply for financial aid, but they must be prepared to pay initially and be reimbursed for the aid that they qualify for at a later date. For additional information, contact the Financial Aid Office at (229) 391-4910.
