TWO SESSIONS OF EVENING REGISTRATION OFFERED FOR FALL AT ABAC

TIFTON--New students who plan to attend evening classes at Abraham Baldwin College during the fall term will have two opportunities to register. The first evening session will be held July 18, and the second session will take place on Aug. 15. Both sessions will begin in the Ag Sciences building at 4 p.m. Students must pay a $30 registration fee.

Students can choose from 38 fall term evening classes, including offerings in mathematics, English, history, physical education, political science, psychology, horticulture, and Spanish. Fall classes begin Aug. 21.

Eight degree programs are available by taking classes only at night. Degrees are offered in the areas of Liberal Arts, Criminal Justice, Psychology, Sociology, Business Administration, Early Childhood Education, and Human Services (Social Science).

Students who attend the July 18 session must pay all fees by Aug. 9 at 4:30 p.m. Those who attend the Aug. 15 session must pay fees by Aug. 16 by 4:30 p.m. If payment is not made by this time, students will lose their classes and have to register again.

Students who need assistance paying for their college education can still apply for financial aid, but they must be prepared to pay initially and be reimbursed for the aid that they qualify for at a later date. For additional information, contact the Financial Aid Office at (229) 391-4910.

For more information, contact Ellen Resta in the Office of ABAC’s Evening/Off-Campus Programs at (229) 391-4905.
