 SPORTS CAMPS BEGIN JUNE 19 AT ABAC

TIFTON—Space is still available for a variety of sports camps for kids which begin Monday at Abraham Baldwin College. Camps being offered include baseball, cheerleading, and bowling.

A Golden Stallions’ Baseball Camp will take place June 19 – 23 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. The cost for this camp is $99, and students need to bring a sack lunch. This camp is for boys 7 – 13 years old. In this camp, participants will learn the fundamentals of baseball through individual and group instruction.

The Mini-Cheer Camp begins June 19 and runs through June 22 from 9 a.m. – noon. The fee is $69 and includes a t-shirt. The camp will be taught at Dream It Gym in downtown Tifton. This class is for children five years old and up. Participants will learn cheers, dance routines, jumps, stunts, and gymnastics tumbling skills.

A Youth Bowling Camp will take place June 19 – 22 at the Tift County Lanes. The fee for this camp is $49 and includes shoes and lane cost. Children 6 – 14 years of age can participate. The kids will be grouped according to age. Participants will learn the basic skills and techniques of the game.
