ABAC HOSTS US KIDS’ GOLF CLINIIC

TIFTON—A US Kids’ Golf Clinic will take place on the campus of Abraham Baldwin College, sponsored by ABAC and the Tift County Recreation Department, beginning July 10.  Class size is limited to six students per session. Pre-registration is required.

The intermediate level of the clinic, Yellow Tee – Level Two, will take place every Monday from July 10 – Aug. 7 from 5:30 – 7 p.m. The fee is $99 and includes book and incentive pins. This session is for kids ages 7 – 12. Golf balls and age/size appropriate clubs will be provided. Proper shoes are tennis shoes or soft spiked golf shoes.

This is a model golf program developed with input from PGA and LPGA professionals to help kids develop golf skills. Etiquette, rules, and skills are taught and practiced throughout the course. 

Students can progress at their own speed, but must pass an exam in order to advance to the next level. Students will also receive a coupon for nine holes of golf at the Forest Lakes Golf Course that they can redeem when accompanied by a paying adult.
