DASHER HOPES TO HAVE CAREER IN NASHVILLE

TIFTON – Hannah Dasher, an Abraham Baldwin College student from Springfield, has always loved the limelight. That is why she chose to go into the field of liberal arts.

“I chose liberal arts for the public relations angle,” Dasher said. “It’s general enough that I can find a lot of areas to pursue within it.”

Dasher chose ABAC not only for what the college offers academically, but also for its comfort level. “Here you are a big fish in a little sea. It’s a good foundation for a college career. Plus, ABAC people are my kind of people.”

While studying for her career in public relations, she is also earning a minor in Spanish. Dasher is an active member of the ABAC Ambassadors and Baptist Student Union. She also serves as vice president of the College Republicans and Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.

Her hobbies include singing, playing the guitar, and socializing. “I just love to entertain,” Dasher said.

After completing her ABAC education, she hopes to attend either the University of Georgia or Belmont University in Nashville, Tenn., earning a degree in public relations with a minor in risk management. “I’ve heard really good things about Belmont so I am leaning toward attending there,” Dasher said.

Upon graduating from college, Dasher hopes to live in Nashville, working in public relations for the music industry. “I would love to work for a recording company doing PR for artists,” she said.

Dasher is the daughter of Billy and Angie Dasher. She has a twin sister who is currently attending college at Georgia Southern University.
