Trey Davis greets visitors at
the recent Open Campus Day as part of his ABAC Ambassador duties.
DAVIS PURSING AGRICULTURE AT ABAC
TIFTON Trey Davis has always been involved with agriculture and now
that he has changed his major from pre-law to agricultural business, he is positive
that attending Abraham
Baldwin Agricultural
College was the right
choice.
I think I will be happier with my new choice of
major, Davis
said. I was involved in FFA, and I show cattle with the National Junior Angus
Association . . . something I hope I can continue to be a part of.
Davis, a Doerun native,
chose ABAC because it was close to home. What I like best is the small class
size, Davis
said. I like getting to know my teachers and getting to know the town. ABAC is
close to my home, but I plan on living on campus next semester. I also like how
friendly everyone is.
After his ABAC days are
over, Davis is heading to Athens. Id like to attend the University of Georgia and either major in agricultural
business or risk management, he said.
When talking about his
future plans Davis
said, I would like to establish a business in either the field of insurance or
agricultural business. And I would still like to be active in the National
Junior Angus Association as less of a showman and more of a role model.
Davis is the son of Henry B. Davis, Jr.
and Paula P. Davis. He has a brother, Jed (16), and a sister, Lakin (10).
