ABAC STUDENTS SELECT MR. AND MS. BALDWIN

Mr. and Ms. Baldwin at the Student Leadership Banquet.

Washington, III and Shawntell Bennett have been selected by their peers as Mr. and Ms. Baldwin for 2006 at
Washington and Bennett were two of 35 students selected for Who’s Who at ABAC by a student-faculty committee. To be eligible for nomination, students must have completed at least 30 semester hours at ABAC with at least a 2.5 cumulative grade point average. From that list, the students at ABAC voted for Mr. and Ms. Baldwin.
Bennett, a music major from Hinesville, is a soprano with the music department. She is a member of the Concert Choir and Jazz Choir. She also serves as an SGA Counselor. She was recently elected SGA Vice-President for the 2006-2007 year.
Other ABAC students named to the list this year were Steven Alamo, a business administration major from Moultrie; Megan Brannen, an animal science major from Statesboro; Karen Brown, a psychology major from Norman Park; Maleria Brown, a journalism major from Sycamore; Ross Cargle, a special education major from Tifton; Meredith Carey, an agriculture education major from Royston; Kozeffy Conateh, a nursing major from Tifton; LeRonnice Davis, a business administration major from Bainbridge; Barbara De Castro, a business administration major from Columbia; Daniel de Jong, a pre-dentistry major from Tifton; Melissa Donley, an early childhood education major from Enigma; Shonivia Edwards, a criminal justice major from Ocilla; and Ashley Harris, a business administration major from Tifton.
Others students included on the list were Jeffrey Hill, a political science major from Tifton; Chanel Houle, III, an engineering major from Tifton; Albreka Hudson, a pharmacy major from Tifton; Ruben Jacobo-Rubio, a business administration major from Dalton; Aja Jones, a psychology major from Tifton; Shanu Mahtani, a psychology major from Tifton; Megan McGahan, a psychology major from Swainsboro; Barbara Merritt, an early education major from Ocilla; Vikki Mitchell, an allied health major from Fairburn; Ernesto Ortiz-Ariza, a political science/pre-law major from Tifton, Pedro Perez, an engineering major from Moultrie; Amanda Perry, a fashion merchandising major from Cordele; and Kristin Powell, a sociology major from Nashville.
Other ABAC students honored included Reginald Rainge, a human services major from Valdosta; Joshua Seehorn, a wildlife biology major from Rabun Gap; Morgan Sharp, a business administration transfer major from Bristol, VA; Erica Stanford, a social work major from Adel; Amy Terrell, a nursing major from Tifton; Merlin Villegas, a dental hygiene major from Clewiston, FL; and Courtney Walker, a child and family development major from Rebecca.
