ABAC STUDENTS CHOSEN FOR WHO’S WHO

In order to be nominated to Who’s Who Among American Junior College Students, nominees must maintain a 3.0 grade point average and participate in extra-curricular activities on campus.
ABAC students named to the list this year included Megan Brannen, an animal science major from Statesboro; Maleria Brown, a journalism major from Sycamore; Meredith Carey, an agriculture education major from Royston; Ross Cargle, a special education major from Tifton; Kozeffy Conateh, a nursing major from Tifton; Barbara De Castro, a business administration major from Colombia; Daniel de Jong, a pre-dentistry major from Tifton; Melissa Donley, an early childhood education major from Enigma; and Ashley Harris, a business administration major from Tifton.
Other students included on the list were Jeffrey Hill, a political science major from Tifton; Chanel T. Houle, III, an engineering major from Tifton; Albreka Hudson, a pharmacy major from Tifton; Ruben Jacobo-Rubio, a business administration major from Dalton; Shanu Mahtani, a psychology major from Tifton; Megan McGahan, a psychology major from Swainsboro; Barbara Merritt, an education major from Ocilla; Ernesto Ortiz-Ariza, a political science/pre-law major from Tifton; and Pedro Perez, an engineering major from Moultrie.
Kristin Powell, a sociology major from Nashville; Joshua Seehorn, a wildlife biology major from Rabun Gap; Amy Terrell, a nursing major from Tifton; and Ellis Washington, III, a political science major from Tifton, also were named to the list.
