MERCER FACULTY TO PERFORM FEBRUARY 1

TIFTON— The First Tuesday Performance Series at Abraham Baldwin College on Feb. 1 will feature several members of the music faculty of Mercer University.

The performance will begin at 7 p.m. in ABAC’s Chapel of All Faiths. The cost is $3 for adults and $1 for students. Guest performers for this event are Monty Cole, clarinet; Carol Goff, piano; Kyle Ferrill, baritone; and Martha Malone, soprano.

The performance will consist of both classical and musical theater selections by the artists.

Compilations by Hugo Wolf and William Bolcom will be performed by the Mercer faculty. Cole and Goff will play a piece entitled Sonata for Clarinet and Piano, originally written by Frances Poulenc. Also to be performed are Come Rain or Come Shine, Stormy Weather, and Over the Rainbow written by Harold Arlen and Baby, It’s Cold Outside penned by Frank Loesser, featuring all of the performers.
