ABAC CONCERT CHOIR AND BAND ON NOVEMBER 10

 

            TIFTON - The annual ABAC Fall Band and Choir Concert will take place Nov. 10 in Howard Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public.

The Concert Choir, directed by Dr. Susan Roe, will sing the “Star Spangled Banner”, the shaker hymn, “Simple Gifts”, and Mozart’s “Ave Verum Corpus”. Other performances will include a traditional Scottish melody “The Water is Wide”, as well as folk songs and a spiritual, “Elijah Rock”.

The ABAC Concert Band, directed by Eugene Wyles, will perform selections from the musical “South Pacific”, “Chorale and Capricio” by Giovanni, and “The Invincible Eagle” by American composer John Phillip Sousa.
