SODEXHO NAMED NEW FOOD SERVICE PROVIDER AT ABAC

TIFTON--Food service at Abraham Baldwin College is taking on a brand new look. Sodexho Campus Services now provides all food needs to the campus. The new food distributor took over services on July 1.

Sodexho’s marketing team and chefs have established a variety of menus for students and faculty. There are four menus a student can choose from, but residents in the ABAC Place apartments are automatically registered for the $300 Dining Dollars Plan.

Special door prices for Dining Dollars include all-you-care-to-eat breakfast priced at $4.50 and lunch priced at $5.50 daily. Students can also use their Dining Dollars at the convenience store at the John Hunt Town Center.

The best value for students is the 125 Block Plan which includes $115 Dining Dollars. This plan allows students to have the option of the all-you-can-eat meals as well as giving them $115 to use at the Donaldson Food Court and the C-Store. The cost to purchase this plan is $699.

 A 75 Block Plan with $125 in Dining Dollars is for students who enjoy eating with friends, but also like to cook for themselves. Students get 75 meals and $125 in Dining Dollars to use. This plan allows for flexibility and variety. The cost to purchase this plan is $499.

The 25 Block Plan with $185 in Dining Dollars gives students 25 meals and $185 to use at the Donaldson Food Court and C-Store. Cost for this meal plan is $310.

The Donaldson Food Court will serve students Monday –Thursday with breakfast from 7:30 – 10:30 a.m.; lunch from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.; and dinner from 4:30 – 7:30 p.m. Hours of operation for the weekend are Friday from 7:30 -10:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday brunch from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.

The C-Store is open Monday – Thursday from 8 a.m. – 9 p.m.; Friday from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.; and Saturday and Sunday from 5 – 8 p.m.
