POET TOM HUNLEY TO READ AT ABAC FEBRUARY 14

 

TIFTON- Tom C. Hunley, author of three poetry books, will read at Abraham Baldwin College on Feb. 14 at 7 p.m. in the Cordell Conference Room, Section C, of the Carlton Conference Center.

Hunley will read from his published works and works in progress, followed by a brief question and answer session. Books will be available for sale and can be signed by the author. The event is free of charge and open to the public.

Hunley is the author of The Tongue; Still, There’s a Glimmer; and My Life as a Minor Character, which was co-winner of Pecan Grove’s national chapbook contest in 2003. He is currently finishing Towards a Rhetoric of Poetry Writing Instruction, an excerpt of which will appear in an upcoming edition of The Writer’s Chronicle.

Hunley is an assistant professor of English at Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green and also operates a small poetry press called Steel Toe Books. This event is sponsored by the Humanities Division at ABAC.
