PROBE TOUR AND CASH FOR COLLEGE ON FEBRUARY 1

 

 

TIFTON- The College Transfer PROBE Tour and Cash for College will make a combined stop at Abraham Baldwin College on Feb. 1.

This event will be located in the dining hall from 10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. The PROBE Tour is for students interested in transferring to a four-year college or university after completing ABAC.

Cash for College is in conjunction with the PROBE Tour. “The goal is to promote financial aid awareness and make sure students are ready for the 2005 fall semester,” said Jenelle Handcox, Director of Financial Aid at ABAC.

Participants will get to meet with representatives from surrounding colleges and businesses. Approximately 30 colleges and businesses will be in attendance.

Some of the colleges participating are Valdosta State University, University of Georgia, Albany State University, and Georgia Southern University.

Businesses involved in the event include student loan vendors SunTrust, Citibank, Wachovia, and Edamerica.
