GATEWOOD TO SPEAK ON IT SECURITY APRIL 13

TIFTON - Stan Gatewood, the Chief Information Security Officer for the University of Georgia, will speak on information technology security in Abraham Baldwin College’s Cordell Conference Room at 7 p.m. on April 13. Refreshments will be provided from 6:30 - 7 p.m.

Gatewood is one of the leading experts on information security, infrastructure protection, and electronic privacy. He was named one of the InfoSec Industry’s Top 25 Security Professionals in 1999.

This will be a seminar jam-packed with important information that will apply to professional and personal use of computer programs, the internet, and e-mail.

A computer will be given away to an ABAC student, compliments of the Student Life and Housing Office after the seminar. The winner must be present at the time of the giveaway in order to claim the computer.

The seminar is open to anyone who would like to attend at no charge.
