FAIR AT ABAC FEBRUARY 20
TIFTON--The
Division of Science and Mathematics at Abraham
Baldwin College
will sponsor the Regional Science and Engineering Fair on Feb. 20 in Thrash
Gym.
Participants
include 128 students, grades six through twelve, from four counties in Southwest
Georgia. Student projects will be entered into one of 14 different
classifications, such as Behavior & Social Sciences, Engineering, Botany,
Computer Science, and Environmental Sciences.
An awards ceremony
will be held at 3:30 p.m. in the
Cordell Conference Room of the Carlton
Center. Twenty-five students may
qualify to attend the Georgia Engineering and Science Fair (GSEF) to be held at
the University of Georgia
in Athens on April 15 - 17. Trophies, ribbons, and several special awards
will also be given.
The fair will be
open for public viewing in Thrash Gym from 3 - 4
