FALL OPEN CAMPUS DAY AT ABAC NOVEMBER 6
TIFTON--Tours of the newly-completed ABAC Place
apartments will be a feature of the Fall Open Campus Day on Nov. 6 at Abraham Baldwin College.
Registration for Open Campus Day begins at 10 a.m. in the Carlton Center.
Visitors will have a chance to view academic displays and find out more
information about financial aid, admissions, and living on campus. The exhibit area closes at 11:15 a.m.
ABAC Ambassadors
will direct tours of the campus down the $1.5 million Pedestrian Mall leading
to the $7.1 million Ag Sciences building from 10 – 11 a.m.
Campus van tours
begin at 10:15 a.m. The
tour will cover most of the 421-acre ABAC campus, including the wildlife area,
which features deer in the wildlife technology program.
ABAC Place tours begin at 10:15 a.m. and will continue until
all the visitors have actually been inside the $32 million project. All 835
private rooms in the apartments are filled.
At 11:15 a.m. a question and answer
session will be held in the Carlton
Center covering financial
aid, admissions, college life, and more. Optional tours of ABAC Place and the campus will be
available after the session
