The 2004-2005 ABAC Cheerleaders

ABAC CHEERLEADERS NAMED FOR 2004-2005

 

            TIFTON- After a 10 - year absence from the campus, cheerleading is back at Abraham Baldwin College. Fifteen coeds make up this year’s roster. The cheerleaders are coached by Mandy Stone and advised by Teri Mathis, Procurement Assistant; and Dr. Chrystle Ross, Executive Director, OITS.

The 2004-2005 ABAC Cheerleaders are Jessica Jones, captain, an early childhood education major from Lenox; Heather Jones, co-captain, an early childhood major from Savannah; Anna Marie Barrett, a liberal arts major from Richland; Tara Caldwell, a family and children service major from Moultrie; and Lindsay Dillon, a business administration major from Coolidge.

            Other members of the squad are Eboni Griffin, a nursing major from Augusta; Alexius Hightower, a political science major from Tifton; Michelle Iverson, a business transfer major from Binghamton, N.Y.; Katie LaPine, a business transfer major from Newnan; and Melissa Martin, an interior design major from Bainbridge.

            Other cheerleaders are Christy Scoggins, a music transfer major from Thomasville; Dana Sorrow, a business administration major from Fitzgerald; Betsy Strickland, an agriculture business major from Havana, Fla.; and Emily Thompson, an agriculture transfer major from Athens. Marla Ross, cheerleaders’ mascot, represents the ABAC cheerleaders of the future.
