ALPHA BETA GAMMA MEMBERS RECEIVE NATIONAL HONORS

TIFTON—Aaron Young and Katie Rayl, two Abraham Baldwin College students from Fitzgerald, have received national honors from the Alpha Beta Gamma business honor society.

Young received the Eva Bobrow Memorial Medallion of Excellence. This is for an outstanding member who serves as an officer, contributes and has achieved excellent results for the chapter. This person is chosen by the chapter adviser. Young served as president of the Sigma chapter of Alpha Beta Gamma at ABAC this year.

Rayl, who is treasurer of the Sigma chapter, received the Zagara Competitors Award. It is given annually to an Alpha Beta Gamma member who is also an outstanding athlete. Rayl played tennis for the Golden Fillies this season. Faculty advisors nominate recipients for this award. Rayl received a $300 stipend and plaque.   Rayl donated $100 of the stipend back to the Sigma chapter of Alpha Beta Gamma.

Kathy Moreno serves as adviser to the ABAC chapter.
