BALDWIN PLAYERS PRESENT ‘THE DEATH OF A HIRED MAN’

TIFTON--The Baldwin Players of Abraham Baldwin College will present The Death of A Hired Man by Jay Reid Gould, adapted from the poem by Robert Frost, on Nov. 11 – 13.

Preceding the show each night will be a recitation of the poem and a brief explanation by Jeff Newberry, ABAC Humanities professor. The play will be held in Conger Hall, Room 319 at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free to all students, faculty, and staff. General admission is $5.

The play is set on a New England farm in the early part of the last century. The play concerns a farm couple and how they deal with the reappearance of an elderly field hand who used to work for them. It is a play about family, home, compassion, and understanding.
