BALDWIN PLAYERS’ AUDITIONS JANUARY 21 - 22 AT ABAC

TIFTON--The Baldwin Players of Abraham Baldwin College will hold auditions for the spring semester production on Jan. 21 - 22 at 7 p.m. in Room 319 in Conger Hall on the ABAC campus.

Auditions are open to ABAC faculty, staff, students, and anyone else who is interested. No previous experience in theatre is necessary. Production dates are March 4 - 6 at 7:30 p.m. in Room 319 in Conger Hall.

Two one-act comedies will be presented. In “Bake Off!” a woman seeks rpartnere for losing last year’s Pillsbury Bake Off, and not even the Doughboy is going to get in her way this time. This comedy will be directed by Chase Nickelson. For more information, contact Nickelson at (229) 528 – 3197.

In “Reese and Babe” by Lew Holton, Reese is burying his vintage ‘65 Mustang in the backyard because he’s concealing evidence--Babe supposedly hit a child on last night’s foggy stretch of road. But it wasn’t a child; it was the “Wonder Chimp” from the circus. Now it’s the wee hours of the morning, and there’s a clown at their door demanding to know what happened to his partner. This play will be directed by Dr. John Galyean, ABAC’s Director of Theatre and the Baldwin Players.

For additional information, contact Galyean on campus at (229) 386 – 3099, or e-mail him at jgalyean@abac.edu.
