ABAC CLASS AVAILABLE IN SYLVESTER THIS
SPRING
A psychology class will be offered in Sylvester by Abraham Baldwin College when spring semester classes begin Jan. 12.
ABAC’s Evening and Off-Campus Programs Director Gail Dillard said currently enrolled ABAC students can register for the class anytime between now and Jan. 12. Anyone who is not currently enrolled at ABAC must apply for admission to ABAC before registering for the class. Prospective students can obtain an application by contacting the Admissions Office at (229) 386-3230 or by visiting the ABAC web site at www.abac.edu.
Introduction to
General Psychology (PSYC 1101) will meet on Thursdays from
Bill Boone, Executive Director of the Worth County Economic Development Authority (EDA), said he is pleased that ABAC is offering courses in Sylvester.
“There are many students
who would like to take college courses, but for various reasons, cannot attend
classes in Tifton or
Boone added that having a “mini” college campus in Sylvester is not only convenient, but it also represents a significant enhancement to local workforce development.
“We envision ABAC’s presence in Sylvester to continue to grow each year and to complement the workforce development already provided by our local school system and Moultrie Tech’s campus in Sumner.”
