GEORGE
SCOTT DAY SHOWCASES ARTS AT ABAC ON APRIL 15
The George Scott Day celebration at Abraham Baldwin College will take place on April 15 from 10 a.m. –
6 p.m. on
the front lawn of the ABAC campus between Tift Hall and Moore Highway. The event is sponsored by the ABAC
Humanities Division and the ABAC Music Department. Scott was a faculty member

in 1994.
One
of the highlights of the day is a dinner and concert by Maynard Ferguson and
his Big Bop Nouveau Band at 7:30 p.m. in the Donaldson Dining Hall. Ferguson has long been recognized as one of

admission to the concert is $20 for adults and $15 for students. ABAC students
are admitted free with student ID. Dinner tickets must be purchased by April 8.
The additional cost for dinner is $15.
