ABAC'S
FALL SEMESTER SHOWS HIGHEST ENROLLMENT
Figures recently released by the Registrar’s Office at
Abraham Baldwin College show a 2003 fall semester enrollment of 3,407 students,
an increase of 12.3 percent over the 2002 fall semester. This figure represents
the highest fall enrollment in the history of ABAC. A total of 3,033 students
were enrolled during the 2002 fall semester.
The enrollment
figure includes students attending classes at the South Georgia Regional
Educational Consortium (SGREC) in
The Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) enrollment for Fall 2003 is 2,760,
a 10.2 percent increase over the FTE enrollment for Fall 2002. The FTE
enrollment figure represents the number of students carrying 12 or more hours.
The report indicates that female enrollment is 56.9
percent. A total of 96.7 percent of the students enrolled are
Spring semester classes begin Jan. 12 at ABAC.
