ABRAHAM BALDWIN BEAUTY REVUE NOVEMBER 12

Ms. Abraham Baldwin 2003 will be crowned on Nov. 12 at the 35th annual ABAC Beauty Revue at Abraham Baldwin College. The Revue is sponsored by the ABAC Ambassadors. 

            The event will feature 46 contestants who will compete in casual wear and evening gowns. They will also be judged on a written essay and an interview with the judges. The Revue begins at 7:30 p.m. in ABAC's Donaldson Dining Hall. Admission is $3.

Students competing in this year's event include Tasha Nichole Bagley, an animal science major from Sparks; Melissa Sue Bass, a landscape design and commercial turf major from Senoia; Casey Benadum, a wildlife technology major from College Park; Jena Blank, an undeclared major from Warner Robins; Holly Amanda Brady, an animal science/biology major from Thomasville; Anna Burgess, an agricultural communications major from Coolidge; Audra Elizabeth Chapman, an agriculture education major from Washington; Caci Cook, an agriculture education/animal science major from Wrightsville; Allison Lea Day, an early childhood education major from Ocilla; Lisa Dean, an animal science major from Perry; Deisy E. Del Toro, a law major from Gainesville; Valerie Franklin, an interior design major from Nashville; Keri Gibbs, an early childhood education major from Ocilla; Jessie Griffin, a nursing major from Adel; and Amanda Gail Hayes, a communications major from Nashville.

Tifton; Stacey Marie Jones, an agriculture education major from Folkston; Misty Deann Jordan, an animal science major from Madison; Catrina Kennedy, an agriculture education major from Claxton; Caroline Leigh Kitchens, a journalism major from Tifton; Jamie Marie Lewis, a business major from Thomasville; Sharanda Manley, a psychology major from Broxton; Mitzi Marie Marshall, a wildlife management major from Dahlonega; Beverly Ann McClain, an information technology major from Tifton; Lotte Frances McGowan, a family and consumer sciences major from Augusta; Lauren Renee Milligan, an interior design major from Moultrie; Shannon Matilda Moody, an early childhood education major from Hoboken; Meghan G. Morgan, an

interior design major from Conyers; Dana Marie Murray, a nursing major from Baxley; Brittany Neff, an early childhood education major from Eatonton; and Lea Newton, a middle grades education major from Tifton.

Other students competing for the title of Ms. ABAC include Kellie O’Connor, a forestry and wildlife technology major from Duette, Fla.; Jamie Pirkle, an animal science major from Gainesville; Brooke Roberson, a nursing major from Chester; Lisa Marie Saenz, a nursing major from Valdosta; Megan Sapp, an agribusiness major from Jesup; Katie Stripling, a family and consumer sciences education major from Moultrie; Amber Nicole Taylor, a business major from Statesboro; Heather L. Thompson, a business major from Marietta; Heather Nicole Thompson, an undeclared major from Macon; Heather Rose Walker, a business major from Tifton; Jill Walker, a psychology major from Tifton; Allison Michelle Whitehead, a business administration major from Ashburn; Carla Whitley, an early childhood education major from Tifton;  Jennifer Lynne Wood, an interior design major from Jonesboro; and Kimya D’Ivory Young, a secondary education/history major from Sylvester.   

Margaret Brogdon, ABAC's Director of Procurement, will direct the pageant, and Pam Leonard, Administrative Secretary in the Public Relations Office, will serve as producer.

Musical entertainment will be provided by the ABAC Jazz Band, under the direction of Don Coates, and the Jazz Choir, under the direction of Wayne Jones. ABAC Director of Public Relations Mike Chason will serve as master of ceremonies. Ms. Abraham Baldwin 2002, Joanie Padgett, will crown the new Ms. ABAC.
