Two Abraham Baldwin Alumni Scholarships of $1,000 each were awarded to Garrett Shepard Lightfoot, a physical education major from Tifton, and Elizabeth Ann Martin, a Family and Consumer Science--Nutrition major from Tifton.
Ten ABAC General Foundation Scholarships in the amount of $500 each went to Lakeisha Rochelle Bell, a physical therapy major from Warner Robins; Ashley Michelle McMillian, an allied health major from Tifton; Carolyn "Suzanne" Johnson, a secondary education major from Tifton; Jean Mathurin, a pre-med major from Immokalee, Fla.; Linda Nhu, a pre-pharmacy major from Tifton; Sarah Martin, an animal science major from Ty Ty; Jennifer Cortiella, a wildlife management major from Miami, Fla.; Lindsay Beth Poole, a criminal justice major from Riceboro; and Gayla Kathleen Prince, a pharmacy major from Thomasville.
A Beckman Nursing Scholarship in the amount of $500 was awarded to Amanda Green McAvoy, a nursing major from Tifton.
A Daren Brownlow Memorial Scholarship in the amount of $1,475 was awarded to Leslie Ann Parrish, an animal science major from Savannah. A $500 Jesse and Dolly Chambliss Scholarship went to Jim Wade Champion of Sylvester, whose major is agriculture engineering technology. Champion was also the recipient of the Marshall Guill Scholarship for $700. Two Carlton Scholarships in the amount of $1,700 each were awarded to Robert Olliff Boatwright, a biology major from Willacoochee, and Deidra Ashlea Dunn, an accounting major from Tifton.
Mary Spurlock, a business information technology major from Moultrie, was awarded a Larry W. (Buck) Wheeler Memorial Scholarship in the amount of $1,500. An E. P. and Iliene Bowen, Jr. Memorial Scholarship in the amount of $1,000 went to Martha Hobbs, a physical education major from Moultrie. A $1,500 Dolly W. Bearden Forestry Scholarship was awarded to Chris Carlisle Odom, a forestry technology major from Thomasville.
Two Josephine L. Cloudman Scholarships in the amount of $1,000 each were awarded to Nathan Johnson, a journalism major from Tifton, and John Russell Belcher, a physical therapy major from Macon.
A $1,000 George Conger Scholarship was awarded to Jamie Ellen Stevens, a pre-med major from Sycamore. A $1,800 J. E. and Annie Lou Connor Forestry Scholarship went to Simon Earnest Batchelor, a forestry major from Camilla. A $500 J. Baldwin Davis Scholarship was awarded to Nikki Carter, an undeclared major from Lenox. Carter also received an ABAC Foundation Scholarship for $500. Angela Moore, a business administration major from Tifton, received an Agnes Davis Donaldson Scholarship worth $1,000. A $1,000 Warren Bruce Donaldson, Jr. Journalism Scholarship was awarded to Vickie Marie Snow, a journalism major from Enigma.
A $1,250 J. H. Dorminy Nursing Scholarship was awarded to Carole Ann Willis, a nursing major from Tifton. A John Henry Dorminy Scholarship of $1,000 went to Marcus Edward Owen, an accounting major from Tifton. An Eason Agricultural Studies Scholarship for $1,000 was awarded to Heather Lynn Jones, an agriculture major from Greenwood, S.C. Jesus Barrios, a computer science major from Tifton, received a $1,000 Eastman Scholarship. Kimberly Grace Bland, a child and family development major from Tifton, received a $1,000 Family and Consumer Sciences Scholarship.
Allan C. and Lelia J. Garden Scholarships were awarded to the following students from Ben Hill County: Leslie Fant, a physical education major; Cutrenia Preston, an early childhood education major; Theresa Davis, a nursing major; Connie Burgess, a human service technology major; Brian Byrd, an undeclared major; Tammie Stapleton, a nursing major; Daniel Dixon, an environmental horticulture technology major; Stephanie Bullock, a nursing major; and Tiffany Chaney, an early childhood education major. Recipients from Irwin County included Latasha Watson, a nursing major; Corey Johnson, a physical education major; Christina Lathem, an early childhood education major; Lakevius Robinson, an allied health major; Reginald Kinchen, a psychology major; Jessica Hudson, a middle grades education major; Kimberly Johnson, an undeclared major; Brandy Morris, a business information technology major; and Troy Crain, a biology major. Martha Bolstridge, an allied health major from Wilcox County, also received a Garden scholarship. The Garden Scholarships were of various amounts, ranging from $500 to $1,750.
A $1,500 Donald and Betty Jones Business Scholarship went to Lisa Jane Owens, a business administration major from Wales. An E. Ray Jensen Turfgrass Scholarship for $1,500 was awarded to Waylon Stuart Shoemaker, a golf course management major from Carrollton. Two Charles Kemp, Jr. Scholarships in the amount of $1,700 each were awarded to Cassandra Davis, a business major from Alapaha, and Keri Ann NeSmith, an undeclared major from Sycamore. Jonathan Andrew Palmer, a physical education major from Tifton, received a $1,600 Charles Kemp, Jr. Scholarship.
A $700 Frederick William Kinard, Jr. Scholarship was awarded to Paul James Sherrod, III, an engineering major from Pavo. Sherrod is also receiving a $500 ABAC Foundation Scholarship. An S. L. Lewis Scholarship for $600 went to Ruby Dyer Dees, a human services major from Adel. She also received a $400 ABAC Foundation Scholarship. Beauris Fleurilus, an electronic engineering major from Orlando, Fla., received a $1,000 Zell and Shirley Miller Scholarship.
A Robert Miles Scholarship of $600 was awarded to Beverly Lynn McLendon, an animal science major from Lyons. Richard Jay Auldridge, an accounting major from Odum, was awarded a $500 Charles W. Powell, III Scholarship. He also received a $500 ABAC Foundation Scholarship. A $1,500 J. Fielding Reed/Ga. Plant Food Educational Society Scholarship was awarded to Helen Barnard Southard, an ornamental production major from Waycross.
David Chason, a pre-med major from Tifton, received a $1,200 Vera Conger Smith Scholarship. A Carlton Smith Scholarship for $600 was awarded to Shanna Elizabeth Boyett,an agribusiness major from Reidsville. A $1,000 B. L. Southwell Scholarship was awarded to Eustace Griffin, a pre-veterinary major from Hoboken. Lori Beth McCard, a veterinary medicine major from St. Cloud, Fla., received a $400 John W. Strickland Scholarship.
A James E. Zorn Memorial Scholarship for $700 was awarded to Erin Renee Evans, a biology major from Ty Ty. Three Vernon Yow Forestry Scholarships in the amount of $500 each were awarded to John Douglas Giddens, a forestry major from Fitzgerald; Jason Patrick Evans, a forestry management major from Ocilla; and Kurt Russell Cribbs, a forestry major from Fitzgerald. A $500 Janice C. Payne/Baldwin Woman's Club Scholarship went to Sonya Alicia Moorman, a nursing major from Omega.
A Hubard Farms Poultry Scholarship in the amount of $1,500 went to Jackie Fisher Hannah, a poultry science major from Sumner. A $500 Larry Allen Agriculture Leadership Scholarship was awarded to Benjamin Paul Kennedy, an agriculture education major from Collins. Patrice Monique Pendleton, a nursing major from Woodstock, received a $1,000 Shirley C. Hutchinson Scholarship. A $500 L. M. Veazey Memorial Scholarship was awarded to Patrice Scott, a family and consumer science major from Savannah. Erin Rebecca Tanner, a pre-med major from Alma, received a Clarence Robert Lang Scholarship in the amount of $1,000.
A $1,750 Langdale Company Forestry Scholarship went to Matthew Terry Hughes, a forest technology major from Lakeland. Two Lane Green Scholarships in the amount of $1,500 each were awarded to Richard Tanner, a wildlife major from White Plains, and Laurel Anne Dowswell, a wildlife technology major from Macon. Gregory Ellis, an agriculture major from Chatsworth, received the $2,000 Harold and Rowena Loyd FFA Scholarship.
