BALDWIN FILM GROUP TO SHOW

FIRST MOVIE AUGUST 28

The Baldwin Film Group will show its first film of the fall semester, Back To School, on Aug. 28 at 7 p.m. in Room 206 in the Music Building on the Abraham Baldwin College campus. Admission is free. For more information, contact Humanities faculty members Marc Steinberg at (229) 386-3102 or John Galyean at (229) 386-3183.

"We are offering a varied mix of Hollywood, foreign, and independent movies," Steinberg said. "The films of important directors, such as Steven Spielberg, Alfred Hitchcock, Woody Allen, and Stanley Kubrick, will be featured. We hope to open up a dialogue with members of the audience about the content and style of the various films we will be presenting."

The Baldwin Film Group was created by Steinberg and Galyean in an attempt to expose students, faculty, staff, and members of the community to innovative, challenging, and entertaining films.
