SUMMER TERM SHOWS RISE IN ABAC ENROLLMENT

          Figures recently released by the Registrar's Office at Abraham Baldwin College show a summer 2001 term enrollment of 1,162 students, an increase of 11.7 percent over the summer 2000 term.

          The recent report reflects a slightly higher female enrollment at the college of 58 percent. A total of 97 percent of ABAC students were Georgia residents. During the summer term, eight international students were enrolled, in addition to 27 students from states other than Georgia. The average age of students enrolled was 24.6.
