Early numbers indicate that enrollment at ABAC during the summer of 2002 will be the
highest in the history of the college. Interim Registrar Beth Saxon reports that 1,350 students are
presently enrolled for the summer term. The previous high was the summer quarter of 1993
when 1,257 students enrolled. Last year's summer term headcount was 1,162. The new
enrollment figure represents a 16 percent increase over last summer. There is also a 13.6 percent
increase in the FTE enrollment.
