Thomas Turcotte, a Veterinary Medicine major from Jasper, seizes everyday as the secretary for the ABAC Ambassadors.

   “My favorite quote is ‘Carpe Diem’, meaning seize the day” Turcotte said. “I just try to get everything out of each day before it passes by.”

   Turcotte enjoys being able to be a college student without being thrown into “the big college life”. He has learned that it is best to always be open-minded and willing to try new things in order to grow.

   Besides his weekly duties with the Ambassadors, Turcotte is also a collegiate FFA member and a physics tutor in the Student Success center. He also enjoys competing in ABAC intramural sports like flag football and bowling.

   He hopes to continue his Veterinary studies at the University of Georgia.
