Biology major Meagan Williams never wanted to attend a large institution when beginning her college career so she and ABAC were a perfect fit.
“I did not want to attend a college with a huge campus,” Williams said. “Therefore, ABAC was it for me.”
The Nicholson resident is an active participant in campus life. She is involved in Christian Student Fellowship, the Student Support Leadership Club, and serves as a representative for the college with the ABAC Ambassadors.
“The best thing about attending ABAC would have to be the ‘home away from home’ atmosphere,” Williams said. “ABAC’s campus is very friendly, and the people here are always willing to help with anything.”
Williams also has learned an important lesson while at ABAC.
“I have learned to never give up on my dreams – even though there may be some people doubting me along the way,” Williams said.
Her favorite quote is “Never be afraid to do something new. Remember, amateurs built the ark; professionals built the ‘Titanic.’”
