AUSTIN NAMED 2009 SENATOR OF THE YEAR

 

TIFTON – Michael J. Austin, a criminal justice major from Brunswick, was named the 2009 Senator of the Year by the Student Government Association (SGA) at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College.

The Senator of the Year Award is voted on by all active senators within the SGA.

Senators at ABAC must have a 2.0 cumulative grade point average at the time of election and maintain it throughout the term of office; plan to attend ABAC through spring semester of the next year; carry and complete a minimum of four hours per semester at ABAC during the term of office; attend the leadership retreat at the beginning of fall semester; and not be enrolled at any college or university other than ABAC during the term of office.
