WORTH COUNTY RESIDENT AWARDED SCHOLARSHIP AT ABAC

TIFTON—Holly Lovell from Sylvester has been selected as an ABAC Foundation Scholar and will receive a Foundation scholarship to Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College for the 2009-10 year.

The ABAC Foundation makes available on an annual basis full tuition scholarships to three of the top five graduates from high schools in Tift County, Colquitt County, Worth County, Cook County, Turner County, Fitzgerald, Irwin County, Berrien County, and Tiftarea Academy.

Lovell is a biology major.  

The deadline for applications for the fall term at ABAC is Aug. 1.  Fall semester classes begin Aug. 17.
