FORMER ABAC STUDENT RECEIVES GABBY

TIFTON—Josh Morey, a former student at ABAC,  received a prestigious GABBY award for Best Station-Produced Promotional Piece at the recent Georgia Association of Broadcasters for Excellence in Broadcasting banquet in Marietta.

            Morey attended ABAC from 2002 – 2003, where he majored in journalism. He now serves as Marketing Producer for WALB-TV in Albany.

            In total, Morey and company won five GABBY awards, nine merit awards, and the 2009 Outstanding Public Service Award from the Georgia Army National Guard.
